Fine Arts - Endangered Species (1992-1996)

Nearly all of the paintings in this series have three elements in common. All the animals are either endangered or threatened. Each of the animals is standing in front of a boxed in area that is smaller than the animal and symbolizes the shrinking environment or habitat. Outside the box, each painting has stories, quotes and anecdotal information written about the animal. My current work has replaced the written word with primordial images.
